Credit Officer, Nordea Finance Model Implementation Team

Would you like to take on a new challenge within Nordea Finance and become part of a team supporting the implementation of new credit risk models across Nordea? We are looking for ambitious colleagues with strong communication and problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and a solution-oriented mindset.

About the Team
Welcome to the Nordea Finance Model Implementation Team. We create value for the entire Nordea Group and our customers by managing and developing credit and risk processes, ensuring robust credit risk management, and delivering high-quality analyses.
We work in close collaboration with business areas and central functions across Nordea Finance and the wider Nordea Group.
As part of the team, you will support the implementation of changes related to new credit risk models and processes as they are rolled out across the organisation. The team focuses on specific activities performed according to established processes, with performance measured through both volume and quality metrics.
You will work closely with colleagues across all Nordic countries and receive support from local credit organisations.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Credit Officer working with high-risk customers and credit exposures, you will play an important role in ensuring that we exceed customer expectations by delivering high-quality, fact-based assessments within agreed deadlines.
You will also contribute to a group-wide programme aimed at enhancing credit risk processes and meeting increasing regulatory and compliance requirements.
In this role, you will work on specific parts of the credit process based on predefined work instructions and system support. These activities are closely linked to the implementation of new risk models under Nordea’s Model Development Programme. As many of these processes are new, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to their development and implementation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage processes related to retail Unlikeliness to Pay (UTP), with the objective of identifying signs of customer financial distress at an early stage.
  • Perform credit process activities within Nordea Finance in accordance with approved credit instructions and guidelines.
  • Conduct credit analyses in line with established policies and standards.
  • Deliver value-adding analyses and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders to support business decision-making.
  • Contact customers when additional clarification or information is required.
  • Provide high-quality feedback and support to stakeholders, including colleagues from other business areas such as Business Banking.

Who You Are
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage.
These are the values that guide us in everything we do, and we believe they resonate with you as well.

To Succeed in This Role, You:
  • Are motivated to exceed customer expectations.
  • Have a strong analytical mindset combined with excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Can interpret and understand credit risk data.
  • Are driven to achieve targets and continuously improve processes and outcomes.
  • Have the confidence to speak up when something seems unclear or when you identify opportunities for improvement.

Your Experience and Background
  • Experience working directly with customers, including proactive customer contact.
  • Proficiency in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
  • Experience in credit risk management and credit analysis is considered an advantage.

Employment Details
The position is based at Nordea's office in Høje Taastrup.
This is a temporary consultant assignment until 31 December 2026. You will be employed by Experis and work as a temporary employee at Nordea throughout the duration of the assignment.

What We Offer
This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are interested in credit risk, customer interaction, and professional development within financial services. The role requires a genuine willingness to learn, curiosity about credit risk management, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
You will join a collaborative Nordic environment where you can develop your expertise, contribute to important business processes, and play a key role in supporting Nordea's ongoing transformation of credit risk management.
If you are looking for a role where you can combine analytical work, customer interaction, and continuous learning, we would like to hear from you.
