Do you want to play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe distribution of Linde Gas’ cylinder-based products – while leading a high-performing team built on collaboration and operational excellence?

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Cylinder Logistics & Stock Controlling Manager who thrives in a role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership and operational responsibility.
Your key responsibilities:
🔹 Logistics & Distribution
- Plan and optimize deliveries to customers and agents
- Monitor and balance cylinder stock levels locally, at customer sites, and with agents
- Identify and handle sensitive orders and delivery challenges
- Ensure on-time deliveries – every time
🔹 Inventory & Data Analysis
- Analyze order patterns and stock movements
- Adjust inventory targets and SAP data to prevent bottlenecks
- Leverage data to improve asset utilization and forecasting
- Reallocate slow-moving or surplus cylinders to maximize efficiency
🔹 Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead a local logistics team consisting of one stock controller and two planners
- Work closely with sales, operations, and external partners
- Develop your team and foster a motivating and trust-based work environment
- Act as a playing coach, balancing leadership (1/3), coordination (1/3), and stock controlling (1/3)
🔹 Operations & Development
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and transport regulations
- Optimize logistics processes with a focus on efficiency and standardization
- Act as contract owner for PGP transport providers
- Manage trailer equipment and fleet maintenance
- Oversee CAPEX and OPEX for the logistics budget
Who are you?
You’ll play an active role in introducing new methods and ideas within logistics and distribution – aligned with Linde’s global standards and customer needs. You’ll help set the direction for continuous improvement, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
âś… Background from logistics and solid experience in inventory management, and supply chain
âś… Confident working with SAP and analytical tools
âś… Experience with LEAN and continuous improvement
âś… Strong collaboration skills and clear communicator across functions
âś… Technically savvy and comfortable navigating complex processes and budgets
âś… Proven leadership experience and the ability to engage and develop teams
âś… Action-oriented, structured, and able to maintain overview in high-pressure situations
âś…Strong communicator in Danish and English
You will be responsible for:
- The local logistics team (1 x stock controller, 2 x planners)
- Coordination with the Bulk Distribution Manager (dotted line reporting)
- Daily operations, budget management, and internal/external compliance
- Driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and operational excellence
