About this opportunity
We are looking for a rising star as professional SAP FI/CO consultant for Nordea Life & Pensions (“NLP”) in Denmark. As part of the internal SAP team in NLP, you will be an active contributor in developing, enhancing and maintaining our current SAP platforms. Our SAP solutions consist of classic SAP FI/CO modules like GL, AR, AP, AA, and some more niche modules like FS C D and FPSL (Financial Product Subledger). Furthermore, our SAP is hosted externally and integrates to various other internal as well as external solutions.
In your daily work you will be part of a very experienced and well functioning team consisting of 5 other SAP consultants and developers. We will expect you to take part of all phases in analyzing, developing, testing and implementation our SAP solutions.
You will be part of the “Technology” department, in which we aim at building a best in class technology platform providing state of art solutions tailored to achieve our ambitious objectives. We embrace cloud and are properly the financial institution in Denmark furthest with implement a full cloud platform using Azure, Salesforce, Snowflake etc. “Technology” embodies a dynamic mix, combining a start up mentality with well established processes. We actively challenge the status quo, consistently questioning our approach while acknowledging that we don't need to address every aspect simultaneously. The environment at "Technology" reflects a balance, allowing us to navigate the complexities of our mission with agility and innovation.
Your responsibilities will include, while not be limited to:
- Together with your colleagues setting the direction for how the business can benefit most of our SAP solutions.
- Take active part of all phases in SAP development. From idea to development and following support of SAP solutions.
- Understanding and supporting of our business to the highest degree.
- Engage relevant stakeholders internal as well as external.
- Helping finance in reaching their goals of accounting and enabling timely internal and external financial reporting.

As this is a position in a technical and complex area, we expect you to have 3+ years of experience from similar positions, and we will of course be willing to invest in your further development.
Your background:
- Strong collaborator management capabilities and ability to translate business needs into technical deliveries.
- Expertise in classical SAP FI/CO modules, indicated by having 3+ years of experience in the relevant field.
- Knowledge or interest in learning about integration, debugging and other technical aspects in SAP.
- Knowledge of the international financial reporting standard IFRS17 a plus
- You enjoy inspiring others to perform and develop, and you keep a cool head when crisis occurs.
- You are familiar with Agile and DevOps delivery methods.
- Strong communicator that can express complicated matters in an easy and graspable way in spoken and written communication.
- Self motivated, professional, high integrity with a balanced set of values reflecting high ethics.
- Proficiency in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
