Primary tasks
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Reconciliation of accounts and determination of provisions and accruals
- Analysis of PL accounts and provide commentary to development in PL
- Reconciliation of intercompany transactions
- Inventory management
- Close cooperation with our international colleagues in Back office, Risk, Operations and Front office roles to extract relevant business knowledge and information to drive a reliable and efficient month-end reporting process
- Participate in ongoing controlling and continuous support with accounting issues and problem solving ensuring high quality of financial reporting
- Participation in the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements
- Contact for tax consultants and auditors
- Calculation of corporate taxes and oversee VAT returns
Your profile
- A finance degree and minimum 3 years of solid experience in Accounting/Finance Controlling from a large, international company
- Proactive user of IT/accounting systems with excellent knowledge of the MS Office package and experience in working with ERP systems
- Knowledge of IFRS and statutory accounting rules
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written in English
- Structured, self-motivated, proactive with significant drive and highly adaptable and thriving with stakeholder management and working with colleagues from various functions, organizational levels, and locations across the world.
- High level of flexibility and ability to work under pressure to meet targets
